Frequently Asked Questions.

Q.) Is there an entrance fee to Millets Farm Centre?

Entrance to the Farm Centre, including the Childrens Play Area, Farm Animal Zoo and Phoebe Woodland, is free. However charges apply for seasonal events. Entrance fees apply to Falconry Centre.

Q.) Do we need to pay for parking?

No, parking is free and we have space for over 800 cars.

Q.) Do we need to book if we are a coach party?

No, booking is not required; however the coach driver will receive a free meal in our Lakeside View Restaurant if coach parties are booked in advance. Please call 01865 391169.

Q.) Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome on-site and in the Frosts Garden Centre. There is an exercise area for dogs to the right hand side of the main drive and waste bins are provided.  Dogs are NOT permitted in the Falconry Centre, Farm Shop, Restaurant, PYO and Maize Maze due to health and safety reasons. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Please do not leave dogs in cars on hot or warm days.

Q.) Do you have wheelchairs?

Yes, we have several wheelchairs situated outside the entrance to the Farm Shop and also outside the Garden Centre.

Q.) Do you have toilets?

Yes, we have toilets situated across our site. The Garden Centre, Restaurant and Maize Maze (seasonal) have toilets inside, and there is a toilet block situated by the side of the Farm Shop also.

Q.) Do you have baby changing facilities?

Yes, these facilities are situated inside the Garden Centre, Restaurant and in the toilet block alongside the Farm Shop.

Q.) Can we bring a picnic?

Yes, we welcome you to picnic on site and we have designated areas throughout our site for you to do so. We ask however that you do not bring picnics into the Restaurant eating areas.

Q.) Can we bring a BBQ?

Due to fire health and safety guidelines, BBQ’s are not permitted on site.

Q.) Do you sell vouchers?

Yes, the Farm Shop, Restaurant, falconry centre and Garden Centre all sell vouchers which can be purchased from the till points.

Q.) What bus do I get from Witney? 

Thames Travel (RH Buses) have an X15 service travelling from Wallingford, Abingdon and Witney to Millets Farm Centre daily. See the visitor information page of our website for further details.

Q.) What bus do I get from Oxford?

Unfortunately there is no direct bus from Oxford to Millets Farm Centre. The Oxford to Wantage route passes along the A338 which is 0.5mile from the site entrance. The other option is to get the bus into Abingdon and then catch the X15.

Q.) Where is the nearest train station?

Didcot Parkway or Oxford. Both are about 20mins away. Unfortunately there is no direct public transport from these stations to site.
